In 2005 three friends got together and discussed what they wanted to do after college. They discussed what their goals were. After a lengthy discussion, three goals were apparent. They wanted to be self-employed, work on the edge of technology and become storytellers. Hypergate Studios (HGS) was founded on that day.

Since then, HGS has grown into a company devoted to staying up to date with cutting edge technology and design for the web. It has also started publishing its own original comic book and developed a unique illustration style bridging the gap between American and Japanese animation styles.
